Khashoggi parallel

THIS
is with reference to the editorial “Sikh activist’s murder” (Sept 20). I am
surprised that the United States and other Western countries have not reacted
in the way they did when Jamal Khashoggi, an American journalist, was killed in
Turkiye allegedly by a bunch of Saudis having state backing in 2018. Is it
because India is not a Muslim-majority country?
