THIS refers to the news item ‘Hafeez vows to go after tax dodgers’ (June 18). It was heartening to know that the finance minister urges legislators and others to ‘cough up’ and pay their taxes.
But it would have been much better if he had disclosed how much income tax the legislators, including himself, have paid during the past five years.
