Outsiders in

Sir,
I understand why Benazir Bhutto (BB) wants to have foreign investigators looking into the October 18th attack. She thinks Pakistanis cannot be trusted to do the job properly. So I'll also heartily support her if she wants to appoint the foreigners as ministers in her next government.
Why not? The locals have made such a mess of things; it would be a welcome change. But the best thing would be if she herself goes back into exile and we have Tony Blair as prime minister and George Bush as president. The former must be feeling pretty low nowadays, while the latter has only a few months left before he retires.
