Land of the pure
Sir: The former Israeli President, Moshe Katsav, was convicted of rape. This is the kind of outcome that is unthinkable in Pakistan. Even though the rape victims are the ones who get convicted here, assuming that such a prominent person would ever be tried for rape and convicted in ‘the land of the pure’, the judge would be a dead man before sunset.
