A war zone

Most of Karachi seemed like a war zone for two hours after midnight on New Year’s Eve. Those who stayed at home were unable to sleep, while those who were returning to their homes after attending weddings got stuck in traffic jams and prayed that they be spared being hit by all the bullets flying around. Those who live in DHA had to make several detours before they could get home safely. I strongly urge the government to declare a dusk-to-dawn curfew every New Year’s Eve in Karachi. Though this will not stop Neanderthals from shooting into the air, it is the only way to save people from being injured and killed.
