Pray at home

March 29, 2020
I live in a large gated apartment complex. The residents have built a mosque in the compound. Despite the fact that the authorities have banned congregational prayers, some of my neighbors insist upon gathering five times a day in the mosque (often accompanied by those who have recently returned from the Tableeghi Ijtema in Raiwind and other places).
They do not realize that even though they may not display symptoms, they could already have become carriers and certainly affect others who are at high risk (like senior citizens). And those who are supposed to enforce the law and prevent them doing so are themselves among those who violate it. If this thing is not stopped, I fear we may lose the war against the virus.
