ECP on its knees?

This refers to
the news item ‘ECP surrenders on fake-degree issue’ (Feb 22). I don’t think
anyone will believe that the Election Commission is a truly independent body if
it does not disqualify all those parliamentarians who cannot prove that their
degrees are genuine.
Such
lawmakers (law-breakers, in fact) should be prevented from contesting all
future elections (if not sentenced to prison terms).
