The Swiss cases

Tuesday, June 01, 2010

This is with reference to the proceedings in the Supreme Court regarding the reopening of Swiss cases against the government. If, as the law minister told the court, the amount in Swiss bank accounts is not much, and if this money (and in forty other accounts in Switzerland as well as in Spain) does not belong to the ruling party's leaders, why shouldn't it be repatriated to Pakistan? Come to think of it, why does the ruling party have any objection to reopening the cases if its leaders are innocent?
