I've always felt that after Saturday was declared a holiday (in addition to Sunday), our civil servants grew more inefficient and started taking more and more bribes. So, when the new government of Imran Khan (in its very first week in power) declared that they were planning to revert to a six-day week, I was elated. But just two hours after the initial announcement, the plan was shelved, probably due to negative reaction from civil servants and Imran Khan's followers themselves. So it seems that government officers have nothing to worry about, they can enjoy two holidays a week with impunity. Nothing will every change in Pakistan!
