This refers to the news report, ‘Peshawar villagers protest against overbilling, digital power meters’ (September 16). It is not surprising that the protesters were activists of the PTI and led by a PTI MNA.
Digital meters do not run fast, as these people allege. They do not want digital meters because these meters record the correct usage of electricity instead of the older meters that could easily be tampered with and made to run slowly. The great Khan should ask his followers to be good citizens.
