Traffic chaos in Karachi
Sir:
For three weeks now, the Defence Housing Authority, Karachi, has been
unsuccessfully trying to maintain one-way traffic from Khayaban-e-Shaheen to
Khayaban-e-Ittehad and Creek Vistas. Police officers are deployed at the end of
each road to guide the commuters. The problem is that more than 20 roads fork
into Khayaban-e-Shaheen. Unless signposts are placed there will be complete
chaos and danger of traffic accidents.
