Seeking tax exemption
KARACHI: This is with reference to the news report “Seeking exemption: Agriculture lobby in parliament unites against taxes” in your issue of June 13. Now we know why the militants are winning: They are ready to die for their beliefs, while our powerful agriculturalists/parliamentarians believe that paying taxes is a heinous sin. Pakistan cannot be saved unless all sectors are equitably taxed.
