Sahil’s recovery

According to a news item, “The kidnappers had been under immense pressure to free the boy unharmed because of efforts of the police and other law-enforcement agencies and active cooperation extended by the Greater Manchester Police of Britain”. I wonder how the police in the UK were able to assist in this case, while the local police did nothing but pick up the boy from where he had been abandoned by the kidnappers.

Since the UK police are so efficient, shouldn’t our interior minister now ask the Greater Manchester Police Department for help to solve other kidnapping cases and crimes taking place in the country?
