Unfair tax

Why have only salaried persons been made to pay five percent of their earnings to help the IDP’s? The government will not be able to collect more than four or five billion rupees this way. Why don’t our law makers calculate the billions that could be saved by reducing the huge amounts spent on maintaining the houses of the
president, the prime minister and the governors? Why can’t the president and prime minister refrain from visiting foreign countries unless it’s absolutely necessary? Billions more could be saved if the government were to reduce the perks given to bureaucrats. Finally, is it necessary for the government to buy new cars every year for its ministers, advisors and civil servants? Ourleaders would rather beg from foreigners than give up their opulent lifestyles.
