I really don't understand why agricultural income should be taxed. Our agriculturists have enough problems without having another one to worry about. They spend sleepless nights wondering where to spend their next monthly vacations, and which foreign universities to get their sons admitted into. With people challenging their inherent right to bury women alive and to order forced marriages of minor girls to doddering old men, agricultural income tax will only add to their miseries.
No, let the feudals enjoy themselves, let them loot the country so they can get elected to the assemblies where they can block all attempts to tax their ill-gotten wealth. Pakistan was created for them to rule over us lesser mortals (who, despite paying back-breaking taxes, have no rights to speak of).
